The Body Shop Gel Eye Mask

This is lurve! Often times after stressing my eyes in front of the computer I give it a break before dozing off; I just look around and try to avoid watching television. After a while I put a cool and soothing eye mask to release the stress on my peepers.

Lately, I was disappointed when my previous eye mask evaporated just within 6 months of usage; I honestly don't know where the colored water went to. It was very very cheap I think it was just Php 62.00 I bought at Personal Care Exchange or PCX so yeah the price says it all.

I was not keen on finding a replacement soon but my boyfriend was insisting on getting me something for Christmas though he got me the Stila Holiday Smudge Pot collection and a water tumbler already so he got me The Body Shop Eye Gel Mask at Shangri La Mall located in Mandaluyong City. We got the jumbo one instead of the small regular sized because it's 15% off! The original price is Php 350.00 but we got it for Php297.50.

What I noticed is that the liquid inside is not just any regular colored water but it's actually gel. So I guess evaporation would not happen any time soon =p Plus it retains coolness a lot longer because of the material and the size.

Instead of the usual garter to secure the eye mask, they use velcro straps which is okay for me but what if I wear them out because I use eye masks every night? Hope I don't wear them out fast.

I love the embossed THE BODY SHOP logo on the side strap ^.^ Glad I did not purchase this on regular store days and got this for sale!

I think this would not evaporate any time soon because I read the package, it's made in the year 2007 and the gel is still packed. Yipee! =) Great to pair this with foot spa!

Earth Therapeutics Tea Tree Oil Foot Soak

Feet care time! =)

This would be my very first post on feet care; to be honest I am not an avid fan of pampering my feet I do not know why but if I know I walked long distances and did a lot of heavy duty carrying of camera equipments, tripods and lights I should take care of my feet because these are the ones being beaten up the most.

I love using Earth Therapeutics Tea Tree Oil Foot Soak, my mother bought this at Beauty Bar in Mall of Asia for Php475. Initially this is my father's foot soak when he was having his foot spa phase (but now he just goes to Del Monte area in Quezon City for his favorite Thai foot reflexology); he bought the Watson's bubble jet foot spa unit and my mother wanted to get him some foot soak. We looked at The Body Shop and the foot soak costs Php800+ so we looked for another alternative.

Now that nobody is using this except me, I learn to appreciate taking care of our feet more. Even right now as I am writing I am tempted to pamper my feet...

Okay now I am back and I am soaking my feet in the bubble jet foot spa filled with warm water and a spoonful of Earth Therapeutics Tea Tree Oil Foot Soak.

My Review:
I must admit the claim are true. It does help make your footsies relax and release the stress it has endured during the day; of course it comes with the big help of warm water and bubble jet foot spa.

I like that it helps to kill the bacteria and remove dirt on my feet because even if I take a shower I am pretty sure not all of the dirt and grime are removed. After 30 minutes my feet feels very soft and it is quite easy to remove calluses. The foot soak has a hint of mint that you can smell and this double as aromatherapy in my opinion. This contains peppermint oil, spearmint oil, rosemary and chamomile.

Once you're done and when you see the basin, the water will turn quite dirty and it is a sign that it works; it does remove the dirt and grime on your feet. According to the ingredients listed, Earth Therapeutics Tea Tree Oil Foot Soak is using Australian Tea Tree oil.

Am I parroting the claims? I must say this lives up to its claims!

Just make sure not to store this for a long period of time because the Dead Sea salts dissolve and it becomes liquid.
