WeHaveIt43 Has Been Revamp!

My favorite beauty online shop wehaveit43.multiply.com has been revamped much to my surprise!
And I'm loving the new look! <3
Bon has been telling me she wanted to change her site's look so the customers could navigate easily on the site and it has finally happened.

On the center of the page you could check her best sellers
On the right side you could click on the list of brands she's also selling on a pre-order basis
Don't forget, she also has on hand products ^.^

This really makes online shopping easier, I thought Bon was selling a handful of brands but when I checked the long list out I didn't realize she's really selling a lot! This makes me appreciate her site even more <3

Jill Stuart Mix Blush in Fresh Apricot Review and Swatch

As a follow up to my previous Jill Stuart Mix Blush in Fresh Apricot post, I'd be writing the review on this post and let's proceed with the swatches.

Here's a swatch of the Jill Stuart Mix Blush in Fresh Apricot
Colors are labelled carefully and it matches the exact numerical label on the first photo showing the mix blush pan.

If you'll notice there's no evident glitter on the pan itself but when swatched, you'll see some shimmers sparkling <3
The color is very sheer and it's fool proof to use. I used this when I was in Taiwan hurrying up every morning; whenever I hurry up I tend to use more force when applying blush but the result is always a nice barely there pink flush.

Jill Stuart sales attendants usually recommend Little Bouquet over Fresh Apricot because Lil Bouquet is more pigmented than Fresh Apricot but in my case Fresh Apricot is just right. Fresh Apricot is more of a light pink blush with a slight hint of peachiness thanks to the light orange shade.
My cheeks are already rosy on their own way, I just need a light blush to even out the rosiness (nature and genes ain't always perfect =p but rosy cheeks is still a gift from God)

Here's how Jill Stuart Mix Blush in Fresh Apricot looks on the white brush
You'll see how it looks like when mixed together

I can't do a cheek swatch because it provides a natural rosy cheeks look and the camera washes the color out- it doesn't appear much on the camera so to speak.

It lasts well the whole day and there's a hint of Jill Stuart's trademark floral scent- it's just a hint and unlike other JS products where the scent is stronger. I guess Jill Stuart takes into account that this is brushed on the cheek area which is very near to our olfactory senses and we wouldn't want an overpowering floral scent near our nose.

The brush itself is so soft! This is the first makeup brand whose built in brush applicator is at par with other expensive brushes. It's very soft and dense at the same time; this is perfect to be used with the mix blush formula. I tried using my own blush brush but the result isn't the same so I recommend use the brush <3

I'm loving it! <3
Oh by the way, if you're lemming for JS you might want to hurry up and ask Bon about JS before it's too late!
I'm drawing up my last Jill Stuart order, it might be my last Jill Stuart purchase from Bon =(

Jill Stuart Lipstick in Baby Coral Review and Swatch

What Jill Stuart says:
Lipstick with light touch and pure color

That's it =p

I believe this line was one of the earlier once which doesn't have much product details as compared to the product line up that came out this year.
I got this from Bon of www.wehaveit43.multiply.com
You might want to check her out because she recently posted Smooth Silk Powder Foundation N and the Limited Edition Mix Blush inspired by the English gardens, I've seen a couple of LE mix blushes before and they were irresistible! My knees are getting weak and I'm lemming for the Smooth Silk Powder Foundation N and the LE Mix Blush...

Here comes the big Jill Stuart addict again to tempt me... =p

The shade I got is Baby Coral since Rosy Coral is considered limited edition in Taiwan
but I really wish I could get a Jill Stuart Rosy Coral too since Baby Coral is love ^.^

Here's hot it looks on top
If you'll take a look on how I handle the lipstick you'll notice that it's quite big for a lipstick.

Here's how it looks on the bottom
It has a crystal cut design and it can stand on it's own because of the flat surface
This is such a great display on your dresser.

Can I reiterate this is a jumbo lipstick? =p
Here's how Jill Stuart Baby Coral looks, the color looks dark and solid but since Jill Stuart cosmetics is a Japanese brand, like most Japanese lipsticks Jill Stuart is sheer and light but it still creates a nice overall finish or look which is great for those who love the no makeup look- it's not super pigmented and you won't look overdone.

I was surprised to see how wide the diameter is for a stick type lipstick, most stick type lipsticks are very thin as compared to this generously sized lipstick.

Here's a comparison of Jill Stuart, Shu Uemura and MAC lipsticks
It's a lot bigger in packaging and in grams!
Jill Stuart has 5 grams of lipstick
Shu Uemura has 3.7 grams
MAC has 3 grams
If I may add, Givenchy Rouge Interdit is at 3.5 grams

Jill Stuart Lipstick in Baby Coral Swatch

Baby Coral looks nude pink coral on my lips, it gave my overall look a nice healthy illusion of tan as compared to my other lipsticks that made me look whiter.

Texture wise it's very smooth and silky, there are no gritty glitters that would harm your delicate lips
I applied cleared lip balm underneath because I'm used to applying lip balms prior to lipstick application
This lasted me a good 4-5 hours with minimal eating but it's okay because retouching with this lipstick will make you feel princess-y.
For those who are used to American brands which usually has pigmented lipsticks you might need to reapply this several times if you want the color to pop out but in my experience and comparison, Japanese lipstick finish is just right and it's not overpowering. It makes you look as if you're naturally glowing from within.

Additional info:
Jill Stuart lippies also has the distinct Jill Stuart floral scent although the scent varies depending on the product. For liquid foundations, eyeshadows and other powder products the scent is stronger as opposed this lipstick's mild Jill Stuart scent; if my olfactory senses are correct there's a hint of yummy peach scent mixed along with the floral perfume which makes the lipstick tolerable.

Jill Stuart Eye Jelly in Midnight Shine Review and Swatch

What Jill Stuart says:
Jelly eye colors with a fresh and moist texture for eyes with gem like sheen and clarity
Fresh Jelly-like textured eye colors
translucent and clear colors
glides smoothly onto your eyelids and stays fresh for hours to give you a long lasting and beautiful finish

its glass container with an arabesque patterned cap is designed in the image of Murano glass. It is small enough to carry anywhere.
Contains Pure Crystal Powder
Scented with the fragrance of Crystal Floral Bouquet

My Review:
It's not a secret that I am a big fan of Jill Stuart make up products, right?
I love make up products that has great quality and packaging; this one is no exception.

I bought this from Bon at www.wehaveit43.multiply.com

I love the packaging; it's very obvious it makes anyone feel princess-y. This is the new packaging actually but the old packaging also has some pretty interesting colors. This is small enough to fit your purse but I suggest don't bring it around since a little goes a long way and the eye jelly stays put for hours on me even without Urban Decay Primer Potion.

I love the color blue but I go gaga over the color navy blue. What more if it looks this pretty?
It makes my knees weak!

Look at how it glimmers when it hits the light. It's all fine glitters; they're very very fine that it doesn't hurt the sensitive eye area unlike other eye make up products that have coarse glitters.

I use my fingertips to apply this on my skin but before everything else I always sanitize my hands with alcohol to prevent unwanted bacteria, oil etc. from infiltrating my precious Jill Stuart.
It's fun dabbing my fingertip on the eye jelly because it wobbles like the jelly we usually eat, haha! I feel like a kid.

It also feels cool on my fingertips, I'm not sure if you all experience the cooling sensation but I do.

Jill Stuart Eye Jelly in Midnight Shine swatch

When the light hits the eye jelly it looks like a beautiful metallic blue hue but if you'll look at the darker area of the swatch the color transforms into a darker hue that is almost black.

Purrrty right?

Benefit 10 Bronzing & Highlighting Face Powder Duo Review and Swatch

What Benefit says:
why we love it:Highlight and contour cheekbones in one sexy sweep with this box of satiny pink and bronze powders. They're a perfect 10!what else you need to know:Complete with soft, natural-bristle cheek brush.

Easy step-by-step contouring lesson included.
product details
  • 10g Net Wt / 0.35 oz
  • winner of:
  • 2008 Working Mother Beauty Awards "Best bronzer/highlighter"

Lightly sweep brush over powder so pink highlighting powder appears on half the brush and bronzer on the other half. With pink side up, whisk from the apple of the cheek up to the hairline. Now you've done the sexy sweep!

What I say:
I got this from Bon of www.wehaveit43.multiply.com, she gets her Benefit cosmetics at the famous Japanese department store chain Shin Kong Mitsukoshi in Taipei City, Taiwan.

I know most have encountered fake Benefit products especially the Box o' Powder series because the packaging is obviously very easy to duplicate but Bon ships Benefit products along with the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi price tag so you'll know it's the real thing.

Here's how it looks at the back, another thing is that you can peel the back label and check at the various product description written in different languages but I opted not to do that because I want things to be neat and tidy.

The bronzer looks very pretty and it's very easy to wear even if you're a pale skin gal. I tried contouring the hollow part of my cheeks and it looks so natural.

The pink highlighter is cute but I would have wanted a more silvery highlighter because pink highlighters don't show up well on my cheekbones due to my natural rosy cheeks but the point is that the pink highlighter still shows up when the light hits my face and that should do the trick.

There's not much chunky glitters which I love but there's a hint of shimmer that's natural enough to make your skin glowing.

Benefit 10 Bronzing & Highlighting Face Powder Duo Swatch

The powder is quite hard- it's not cornstarchy soft like Stila eye shadows. Benefit 10 Bronzing & Highlighting Face Powder Duo is more like Urban Decay eye shadow hard which is great for travelling especially for the bumpy road ahead. I am still afraid of purchasing Stila powder products because they can easily break.

The consistency is very sheer and light which is great as a foolproof make up; you can just build the color later on after applying the first layer of bronzer and highlighter. It's better this way because it would be harder to undo heavy bronzer and highlighter make up.

I haven't tried using the brush itself because it's quite coarse so I'm using my Suesh angled brush for contouring and it does the trick.

The Benefit 10 Bronzing & Highlighting Face Powder Duo has a light fruity floral smell and I'm pretty much okay with that because the scent goes away after a while.

Upcoming Reviews 2: Benefit 10, Jill Stuart Eye Jelly in Midnight Shine, Jill Stuart Lipstick in Baby Coral

Here are the stuffs I got from Bon of http://www.wehaveit43.multiply.com this Friday ^.^
I wanted to use all of these on my movie date with the boyfriend but I deliberately didn't so I could take snapshots for reviews coming up soon! I'll be taking photographs under natural light because artificial light doesn't do great for snapping make up photos.

Benefit 10 Bronzer and Highlighter
I've always wanted a bronzer and a highlighter but I'm not sure if I'm gonna use it regularly so I got this 2 in 1 product instead. The bronzer seems light enough for my pale skin.

Jill Stuart Eye Jelly in Midnight Shine
It's really really pretty... <3

Jill Stuart Lipstick in Baby Coral
This lipstick's is a whopping 5 grams from the average 3-4 grams...

Vivi Magazine March 2010 Taiwan Edition
It's in Chinese! Hurrah! I can read it now!!! ^.^

Now this Jill Stuart make up box is a pleasant surprise from Bon! ^.^
I remember Bon telling me she was pleasantly surprised to see I've been blogging about her online shop for a while so she decided to send me a gift, I didn't know it would be shipped right away with this purchase.
This will now house all my Jill Stuart stuffs- I didn't realize I've accumulated so much already, haha!

I didn't expect another gift twice in a row this week. My suki buyer and friend Sienna told me it must be good karma. Thank God for the gifts! ^.^

Let us always remember to praise God for the material gift and more importatnly, the gift of goodness we receive from the people around us. =)

Majolica Majorca Honey Pump Gloss in BE211

I've been neglecting my glosses and opted to swipe on lipsticks most of the time now but today I'm going to revisit my lip gloss lovin' days.

I've been using lip gloss since 10 years old and now I'm 20 going 21 this year so it's almost 11 years of dabbing lip gloss. Whew! It makes me feel so old =p

My version of Majolica Majorca's Honey Pump Gloss is the second generation and it's pure love.

I got this from Bon of wehaveit43.mulitply.com as GWP because I don't know how much I've spent already shopping on her online shop, I do know but I'm in denial; I don't wanna acknowledge and say it out because I might faint but it's all worth it haha. However Bon sells this for Php 250, pretty cheap for a nice Japanese lip gloss.

This is in BE211 which is the beige color. This is my first nude lip gloss and it's right on time because summer is here in the Philippines. I've been reading Japanese Magazines and going for nude lips this summer is the craze!

I used to hate nude lips because it makes me look so pale and unhealthy but hey that's not true. You just have to take cues on how to wear nude lips and it will look simply beautiful.

Here's how the applicator looks. Most of the tube lip gloss have the slanted type of applicator but Majolica Majorca Honey Pump Gloss has a round applicator which glides smoothly on the contours of my lips.

Majolica Majorca Honey Pump Gloss in BE211 swatch

I admit I'm afraid of using plumping lip gloss because I heard it stings. I don't know how the plumping effect  fares for Majolica Majorca though =p

The color looks solid in here but it looks very sheer on the lips- it just adds a tinge of nude color which is the whole point of sporting nude lips.

Here's how it looks spread on. If you'll check closely you'll see bits of shimmer.
What's remarkable in the shimmer is that it will stay put even after a long way of no retouch.
The gloss texture is smooth despite the glitters and yet the consistency is very sticky- comparable to my Shiseido Primalise Gloss.

Aah... Look how the gloss reflects the light. It looks lovely! <3
Now I think I'm going back to lip gloss for a while...

Jill Stuart Mix Blush in Fresh Apricot

Hurrah! I'm having my mini Jill Stuart counter here on my dresser!
This is my fourth Jill Stuart accumulation and I'm loving the packaging to bits.
This is just an initial review since I promised myself not to use this until I've finished up my L'oreal Blush Deliceux in Rosy Cheeks; it already has a small hole in the middle actually. Actually I'm tempted to sell it complete with the brush unused for a low price but of course it's harder to sell a blush in that condition.

Moving on to the real star of this blog entry- the Jill Stuart Mix Blush in Fresh Apricot

One thing that I initially didn't appreciate was the brush included because in my experience most brushes and sponge applicators included don't perform well but seems like that perspective would change now.

Isn't this cute?
I never appreciated how cute and intricately designed this blush brush is, it's like MAC Baroque Boudoir all over again, but with Jill Stuart it's available all year round.
The brush is very soft and yet dense. I hate to admit it but it's even a lot better than my current blush brush. ^.^ it doesn't prick me at all.

I'm just afraid of staining the brush but I hope Jill Stuart's formula won't stain the brush that much.

On other blog entries I've read, I usually admire the blush compact itself but I didn't pay much attention to the brush; I just have to say that I love the design, because Jill Stuart pays attention to the smallest details I'll return the favor and try to let you examine even the smallest details there is for appreciation.
Japanese make up is the best!

For those who are worried "Oh no, how do I use the brush when it's attached to the compact?"
Nah don't worry, it's detachable as you can see on the photo. It also has another hook on the brush case itself.

If you'll look closer, the chain isn't your ordinary chain, even the chain has a lovely pattern.

Here's the Jill Stuart Mix Blush compact itself
My knees get weak whenever I see such Victorian-princessy packaging!
The plastic is sturdy and it doesn't get scratched easily.

Here's how it looks on the bottom

Tadaah! There's a clear plastic with the Jill Stuart print on top as a protective cover for the powder.

Here's how it looks without the plastic cover
Even my boyfriend said it's pretty!

Aah... This is the complete Jill Stuart princess experience!
When you look at the mirror you can't help but to notice the pretty filigree like design on the border that creates a more pleasurable princessy blush experience.

Believe me, I know it seems so superficial but little details like these can make your make up routine more fun.

Here's a close up of the Jill Stuart Mix Blush in Fresh Apricot
Swatches coming soon! As soon as I get to figure out what to do with the L'oreal Blush Delicieux in Rosy Cheeks.

Of course I also love the quaint box. It's so pretty I just can't help but to take photos of 'em!

I bought this from Bon. This is her own Mix Blush Compact but she said she's not gonna use it anyway so I got it ^.^ I'm eyeing the Fresh Apricot anyway and the offer is right in front of me, I can't help but to get it!
This is bought at Shing Kong Mitsukoshi Taiwan too, the home of the cheapest Jill Stuart make up.

You read that, to avoid breakage, do not pull or hang the compact with the brush! =p
I take great precaution taking the compact out of the box because I really take care of things I love.

Some more Nihongo, of course I can't read it except some bits and pieces of Kanji which is basically the Chinese characters.

Hope this initial review helps for those who are interested in Jill Stuart Mix Blush Compact ^.^
